Fall Accessories

Happy Sunday! It's been a great weekend! This fall like weather has been amazing. I remember this time last year it was still very hot, but we woke up to a very chilly morning yesterday, and it warmed up to the lower sixties, so it was an ideal day to put on some fall layers and accessories and go for a walk before having a patio dinner with my parents. My favorite fall layers include a sweater of course, a vest, and I have purchased my first fall hat, and I am here for it.

I have been working on acquiring fall staples, such as sweaters that you can wear again and again. You might recognize this sweater from when I wore it in early summer, and last fall in the Adirondacks. It is perfect for this time of year as an extra layer, but it does have an open knit so it isn't too warm. My olive green field vest is old from Francesca's, but still always a staple this time of year, and I was so excited to break out my boots. The real star of this outfit thought is definitely the hat.

I had seen so many cute outfits with this style of hat, but I wasn't sure if I could pull it off, or if it would stay popular enough to make it worth it. The look has stuck around, and I decided I would go for it this year. I picked this wide brim style one from Target's Universal Thread line. I preferred it over others because it is a little floppier and not so stiff as other styles, and I also love the deep brown color. I think it will be coming with me on plenty of fall adventures.

I will also go ahead and link these fleece lounge joggers, because they are incredibly cozy, I got a pair both for my mom and myself. My current situation is wearing them, writing this post, and watching the Bills game after getting some stuff ready for school. The weather, being back at school, chili cooking away in the crockpot, and fall outfits are putting me in such a good mood, and I am excited for it to officially be fall this week!

I hope everyone has a great week!
