Fourth of July Weekend Recap

I wanted to do a little photo round up from the weekend. Friday night we took a little walk around Delaware Park at Hoyt Lake which I love this time of year.

I have been looking for more comfy clothes to wear this summer. In my house right now I am currently wearing leggings (thank goodness for air conditioning!) but when I do go outside I want to be cool but comfortable. I do wear athletic shorts and t-shirts a lot to run errands, but when I want to look a little nicer, it is nice to have options.  I found these pull on navy pants that are so comfortable, and looked so cute with this old sweater tank I have from Banana Republic. I love navy blue and stripes so this is the perfect summer outfit for me. Also, you will be seeing a lot more of this Amerri rattan bag. I love it so much and it's perfect for the few essentials I carry around in the summer.

On the Fourth, we had a low key day at home. Normally we go to a friend's family's home near where they do a local fireworks show. Of course all of the fireworks shows have been cancelled for safety reasons. It felt nice to just hang out with Tony and Oscar. We grilled cheeseburgers, and had Rocket Pops for dessert. I wore my Vineyard Vines for Target dress from last summer, it is perfect for the holiday with the navy and white striped bow, then I added my headband for a small pop of red and a red lip.

I also have to include this photo of our red white and blue waffles we had over the weekend.

What are some cute but comfortable summer styles that you love?
I hope everyone has a great week!
